CBD or cannabidiol is one of the most prevalent cannabinoids found in the trichomes of hemp. It is non-psychoactive, non-toxic and doesn’t have side effects. Because CBD is no water soluble, it’s recommended to drink hemp tea with a dash of fat as milk. Coconut oil or a small piece of regular butter will work too.

As well as cannabidiolic acid as the main ingredient, the tea also contains trace amounts of other cannabinoids that are beneficial to our bodies.

The tea also contains many flavonoids valued for their medicinal properties, in particular apigenin, luteolin, orientin, quercetin, kaempferol and vitexin.
